Terms of use

1. Parties and subject

This agreement is between [Company name] (“Rehber Burada”), which operates the rehberburada.com website and mobile apps (the “Service”), and the person using the Service (the “User”). It sets out the terms of use and the rights and obligations of the parties. The paid yearly package is additionally subject to the distance sales agreement.

2. The Service

Rehber Burada is a business directory that lists basic details of businesses in Türkiye, such as name, phone and address, publicly and free of charge. Users can add businesses, claim their own business for free and update its details, and optionally buy a yearly package to add a description, WhatsApp, email, website, social media, logo, gallery, map and video and to appear with priority in searches.

3. Membership

• You must be at least 18 and legally able to enter into contracts to become a member.
• You must give accurate, up-to-date information and verify your email address. You are responsible for keeping your account and password secure; tell us immediately if you notice unauthorised use.
• You may not open multiple accounts to get around the rules. If you act on behalf of a business, you declare that you are authorised to represent it.
• You can delete your account at any time from My account. What data is kept after deletion, and for how long, is set out in the privacy notice.

4. Business details and claiming

• Basic directory details (name, phone, address) come from public sources, users or the business itself. We take care to keep them accurate but cannot guarantee that every detail is current.
• When adding someone else's business, enter only information that the business itself has made public.
• Claiming is free. We verify that the business is yours with an email/phone code or a document. If a claim is made with false or forged statements, ownership is revoked, the account may be closed and legal action may be taken.
• If several people claim the same business, we decide after reviewing documents and may freeze changes while we decide.
• Changes to the business name and category go live after approval; how other changes are reviewed is explained in the content rules.

5. User content and licence

• You are responsible for the text, photos, logos and video links you upload (“Content”). You declare that you have the right to publish it (your own photos, licensed images, your own brand).
• You keep ownership of your Content. You grant us a free, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence, valid while the Content is published, to publish, resize and format it within the Service (business page, search results, app, sharing previews and promotion of the Service). The licence ends when you delete the Content (except for reasonable cache and backup periods).
• Content must follow the content and community rules. We may remove or stop publishing Content that breaks them without notice.

6. AI-assisted features

AI is used for interpreting searches, drafting business descriptions and content review. A description written by AI is a suggestion: you are responsible for reading and correcting it before saving and for the accuracy of the published text. If automated review flags content as risky, the final decision is made by a human. Details are in the privacy notice.

7. Prohibited use

You may not use the Service to infringe others' rights, create misleading or fake listings, collect data with automated tools without permission (scraping), attempt to compromise the security or operation of the system, send unsolicited commercial messages or for any unlawful purpose. Contact details in the directory are only for reaching that business; they may not be used to build bulk marketing lists.

8. Suspension and account closure

Depending on the severity, we may warn accounts that break these terms or the content rules, remove content, temporarily suspend or close the account. For serious breaches (fake claims, illegal content) there may be no prior warning. You can appeal via our contact channels; appeals are reviewed by a human. Refunds for accounts closed for rule breaches are handled under the cancellation and refund policy.

9. Limitation of liability

• Rehber Burada is not a party to the goods and services offered by listed businesses and is not responsible for problems arising from your dealings with them.
• We work to provide the Service without interruption or errors, but to the extent permitted by law we are not liable for indirect losses from interruptions due to maintenance, technical failure or causes beyond our control.
• These limitations do not apply in cases of our intent or gross negligence, nor to consumers' statutory rights.

10. Intellectual property

The Rehber Burada name, logo, kilim-patterned design, software and the compiled directory belong to Rehber Burada and may not be copied or reproduced without permission.

11. Changes

We may change these terms. We announce significant changes on the site and email members at least 15 days before they take effect. Continuing to use the Service after a change means you accept the new terms; if you do not, you may delete your account.

12. Governing law and jurisdiction

This agreement is governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye. For users acting as consumers, the Consumer Arbitration Committee at their place of residence has jurisdiction within the monetary limits announced annually by the Ministry of Trade, and Consumer Courts above those limits. For other disputes, the courts and enforcement offices of [Province] have jurisdiction.
