Cookie policy
In short: we use no advertising cookies. Besides the essential cookie that keeps you signed in, there are Google Analytics cookies for visit statistics. Below we honestly list what is stored in your browser, why and for how long.
This translation is provided for convenience; the Turkish text is binding: Çerez politikası
1. What is a cookie?
Cookies are small text files that a website stores in your browser. The browser's local storage (localStorage) and the service worker cache can be used for similar purposes; this policy covers all of them.
2. Our own cookie
| Name | Purpose, type and duration |
|---|---|
rb_oturumFirst party · essential | Remembers that you are signed in, your language and your form security token (CSRF). Deleted when you close the browser; kept for 30 days if you choose “remember me” when signing in. Sent only over HTTPS and not readable by JavaScript. |
This cookie is strictly necessary to provide the service you request, so your consent is not required (KVKK Art. 5/2-c and f, Electronic Communications Law Art. 51). If you block it you cannot sign in, but you can still browse the directory.
3. Other data stored in your browser
| What | Purpose and duration |
|---|---|
Local storage (localStorage): rb_cerez_tercih, rb_kayitliFirst party | Remembers that you closed the cookie notice with “OK”, so it does not reappear on every page. rb_kayitli: the list of businesses you saved (Saved). Similar small interface preferences may be stored here in future. It is not sent to our server and contains no personal data; it stays until you clear your browser data. |
Session storage (sessionStorage): rb_asistan_…First party | Your chat with the Directory Assistant is kept only in the open tab so it is not lost when you reload the page. It is deleted when you make a new search or close the tab. |
Service worker cache (rb-static-…)First party | The site's stylesheet, script and icon are stored on your device so pages open faster and the app works on weak connections. Only public files are stored, no personal data. The old version is deleted when a new one is released. |
4. Third-party content
Some pages load content from other companies. Your browser then connects directly to that company's server, your IP address and browser details are sent to it, and its own cookie rules apply.
| Service | Where and what happens |
|---|---|
| YouTubeyoutube-nocookie.com · Google | On business pages with a video. The privacy-enhanced address is used: no tracking cookies are set unless the video is played; if you play it, Google may use cookies. |
| OpenStreetMapopenstreetmap.org | The map on business pages with a location. Map images are downloaded from OpenStreetMap servers. |
| Sign in with Google / Apple | Loaded only on sign-in and sign-up pages to show these buttons; if you use them, Google or Apple use their own cookies. |
| PayTR | Only in PayTR's payment form during a package payment; PayTR's own cookie rules apply. |
Even without the map and video, the business's address and phone are shown as text on the page.
5. Analytics cookies (Google Analytics)
To understand and improve how the site is used, we use Google Analytics. It is loaded on our pages and sets the cookies below.
| Cookie | Purpose and duration |
|---|---|
_ga, _ga_*Google Analytics · Google Ireland Ltd. | Gives your browser a random ID to count visits and page views as statistics. Duration: 2 years. Not used for advertising or personalisation. |
If you do not want to be measured by Google Analytics, you can block these cookies in your browser settings or use Google's Analytics opt-out add-on. We do not use cookies for advertising or personalisation.
6. Managing your preferences
You can view, delete or block cookies and site data in your browser settings (Chrome: Settings → Privacy and security; Safari: Settings → Safari → Advanced → Website Data; Firefox: Settings → Privacy & Security). In the mobile app, clearing the app's data does the same.
For details about your personal data see the privacy notice.
