Membership Agreement

Accepting this agreement is required both to claim a business and to add one.

1. Subject

This agreement is between Rehber Burada and the member who adds or claims a business on Rehber Burada (the "Member"). It covers granting the Member the right to manage the business listing, verifying the Member's identity and link to the business, and the rights and obligations of both parties. The terms of use and the privacy notice form an integral part of this agreement.

2. Declaration of authority

The Member declares that they are the owner or a partner of the business, or a person authorised to represent it. Applying on someone else's behalf without permission, or uploading another person's or a forged ID, photo or document, is prohibited. Such acts may constitute offences under the forgery (art. 204, 207) and personal data (art. 136) provisions of the Turkish Criminal Code, and Rehber Burada reserves the right to inform the competent authorities.

3. Verification steps

The Member uploads a photo of the front of their ID card (required). Optionally, they also upload the tax certificate, certificate of activity and trade registry gazette issued in the business's name.

The Rehber Burada team visually compares the name on the ID with the applicant, and the name and address on the documents with the business listing. An approved business shows a "Verified business" badge; a business approved with valid official documents shows a "Profile verified with official documents" badge. The badge shows that the ID and documents were reviewed; it is not a guarantee of the quality of the business's products or services.

4. Personal data

The ID photo and the documents are processed only to verify this application, on the legal grounds of entering into and performing the contract (Law No. 6698 (KVKK) art. 5/2-c) and our legitimate interest in preventing abuse (art. 5/2-f). Only authorised team members see the files. The files are kept encrypted in a non-public folder, are not shared with third parties (except where required by law) and are deleted within 7 days after the application is decided.
