Account deletion
The Rehber Burada website and the Android/iOS app use the same account. You can delete your account at any time.
Deleting in the app or on the website
- Sign in to your account.
- Open the My account page from the bottom bar or the menu at the top right.
- Tap the Delete my account link at the bottom of the My details tab, confirm with your password (or by typing DELETE if you signed in with Google/Apple) and open the confirmation link sent to your email.
After confirmation your account is held for 15 days; signing in during this period cancels the deletion. After that, deletion is permanent and cannot be undone.
Data deleted and data kept
- Deleted: your name, email address, password, Google/Apple connection, claim requests and uploaded documents.
- Stays in the directory: the name, phone and address of businesses you claimed stay published as free listings, without any link to you. If you want the business removed as well, send a business removal request.
- Kept: payment and invoice records are kept for 10 years as required by tax law, with the link to your account anonymized. Security logs are kept for the legally required period.
Can’t sign in? Request deletion
If you can’t sign in, enter the email address registered to your account. We process requests within 30 days at the latest and may write to this address to confirm the account is yours.
